Interview with Ron and Tiffany


JM: What types of clothes were most common?
Ron: a colored jumpsuit like cloths
Tiffany: This was my first time in jail. Not counting the drunk tank I was in for my DUI. But, I was issued and told I HAD to wear what was given me. Old used underwear with holes, sport bra, two smelly blackish white teeshirts, a jump suit that had a terrible chemical smell, very old used tube socks and some very worn orange rubber slippers.

JM: Did you have a set uniform? What did it look like?
Ron: red blue or orange depending on your custody level
Tiffany: I was wearing the white tee under a yellow jumpsuit.

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Ron: get a size bigger .
Tiffany: Colors of jumpsuits were issued based on set criteria.

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Ron: yes.
Tiffany: Same
